Chloe McGlinchey, Director & Principal Speech & Language Therapist
Chloe is a highly experienced and enthusiastic therapist who is dedicated to helping children achieve their maximal potential through the therapy she provides. Chloe is passionate about developing the communication skills of her clients. Throughout her career Chloe has worked with a diverse range of clients in multiple settings including community health clinics, schools and early intervention services. Chloe has extensive experience in the assessment and intervention of children with a range of speech and language needs and developmental difficulties including autism spectrum disorder, speech sound disorders, physical and learning disabilities and language disorders. Chloe is trained in a range of therapy approaches including Dysphagia Management, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Palin Parent Child Interaction (PCI), Intensive Interaction, Makaton sign, Pragmatic Organised Dynamic Display (PODD), and is able to apply the principals of Applied Behaviour Analysis to speech & language therapy. Chloe adopts a family-centred therapy approach and strives to keep her therapy sessions engaging, fun and functional.. As a mum to her young daughter, Chloe understands the demands of family life and strives to ensure therapy goals can be incorporated into everyday activities for the best results. |
